2. Ella Carson was Henry Carson’s wife.
3. Mary Carson was the mother of John, Gilbert, Henry, and Mabel Mary Carson born Kane, I11.
4. Mabel Straight (Streight) died in I11. Streights were an integral part of the history of South Bend and Wabash. Streights owned general merchandise stores in both towns in early days. Mabel was born southwest of Greenfield, I11.
5. Henry Carson, known in the community as “Slats”, was the Murdock Elevator Manager for many years. He and Ella married when they were middle-aged. Gilbert and John Carson did not marry. None had children.
