William Schewe born Sec 3 Elmwood Prec., Cass Co. Nebr. (Maine Land P.O.) Son of Ferdinand and Amelia Dettman Holke Schewe. (See Lot 25). William lived his adult life on Sec 10, Elmwood Prec. Cass Co. Farmer. Married Mary Susan Brooker Schewe. Had three sons: Marion, Donald, Norman. Norman killed WW II. Schewes were members of Emmanuel Church until Murdock Ebenezer was formed.
Mary Schewe born Plum Creek (near Lexington) Nebr. Maiden name was Mary Susan Brooker. Father was Methodist Minister. Mary Schewe was a wonderful Bible student and taught adult Sun. School for years in Murdock Ebenezer Church
